Overview
About Me
I am currently traveling Southeast Asia with my partner and then going to Australia on a working holiday visa. That being said, I cannot currently host! But I am looking for some fantastically interesting humans who are willing to host me and my partner. We’re anti-Trump Americans who like talking politics. Or not, if that’s what you’d prefer.
Anyway...
I don't believe in the paranormal. I like to take pictures of my feet in a variety of different places. I like the outdoors and dinosaurs. I'm a junkie for cereal and ice cream. When I go bowling, I like to make my name "Wolverine" so that whenever I get a strike a big X comes up on the screen and I can do some X-Men move.
But really...
I was previously a youthworker by day and worked for a non-profit organization that hosts a multicultural leadership program for high school students. We focus on humanity, the way we show up in the world, and how to be actively engaged in our community. I was a bartender by night and poured beer for a local craft brewery. I love snacks, scavenger hunts, and french fries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that couchsurfing is the best possible way to travel the world and meet new people. When I travel, I like to be a tourist as little as possible and experience the everyday lives of the locals. Take me to your favorite seedy bar, introduce me to your weird friends, tell me your boring stories and I'll try to do the same!
Interests
I like climbing trees, doing yoga on boats, and taking public transportation anywhere and everywhere.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love watching movies and I commonly go to the theater by myself, defying all the societal expectations that say otherwise. I especially like movies starting Keanu Reeves, movies where humans hunt other humans, and terribly awesome movies from the 80's - if you've seen the movie Double Down, Miami Connection, or Deadly Prey, and love them, then we'll probably get along just fine.
I like a wide variety of music - from mid 90s hip hop to Mexican ska. I just can't get down to country or anything that sounds like someone is screaming violently.
As for books, I thoroughly enjoy getting lost in the wizarding world or anything equally magical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Eaten balut in the Philippines.
