About Me
Hello!
Some of my main interests are hiking/backpacking, playing music (guitar, drums, and sing), spirituality, science, the combination of science and spirituality, photography, astrology, challenging myself (I had a YouTube channel for this back in the day), and the list goes on.
Most impressive challenge I've given myself? I learned how to unicycle and juggle together within 2 weeks. It's may be silly, but that was an intense 2 weeks hahah!
I'm originally from NJ, and moved to Colorado in 2011. From 2017 to 2019 I lived in Maui, and left there for a 3 month scuba diving trip around Indonesia that kind of changed my world. If you want to hear about my project that will help people find their passion and introduce them to meaningful work, ask me about Bahoi. Bahoi was a village that I was inspired by while in Manado, Indonesia, and I could talk for quite some time about the project that I've named after it... you've been warned lol
In 2021, while residing back in Colorado, I took over the role of Director for an international environmental organization called Green Team Academy, and in 2023 took a 3 month trip around Uganda to meet with some of the teams I had been working with. I learned so much and was able to take part in some projects while there, which actually helped me develop the concept of Bahoi even further.
When I got back to the states I ended up staying with family on the east coast and was able to explore my love for living in the woods along the Appalachian Trail. For me, the sense of peace and freedom I experienced while on the trail was like none other! It's a feeling that I will work to experience in every moment through different mindfulness, and physical, practices.
Ultimately, I've really been learning how to let life unfold for me since 2021, and right now the road is leading to Utah. I'm thrilled to see how things may come together, and what I'll be able to offer the Utah Conservation Corps during my time with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At this moment in time, I'm here because I'm starting a seasonal position with the Utah Conservation Corps (UCC) and am in need of somewhere to spend the first 2 nights that I'm in Logan. While I'm working with the UCC I'll be mostly staying in my tent, so having somewhere to spend the first two nights I'm in town would allow me a bit of breathing room while I get a better understanding of the area and the position that I'm starting.
More generally, I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it's an awesome platform that helps connect people from different areas. I enjoy experiencing the authenticity of a place with the locals, and this is an incredibly efficient way to do so while living on a tight budget.
Interests
If I had to name the one interest that plays a fundamental role in everything I do, it would have to be growth. Growth as a person, growth as a community, growth as a species. I'm interested in better understanding how our bodies hold traumas that result in physical ailments, how to remedy those ailments through internal work and healing, and how some of our traumas are weaved throughout the collective and what we can societally do to heal.
On the flip side of that, I'm always down for fun and adventure because there's no denying that enjoyment is also balm for the soul! I like to go deep, but have fun while doing it. I'm up for just about any outdoor activities, and love trying new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Classic Rock, Punk, Reggae, Ska, Indie, and open to giving anything a listen.
Movies - The Waking Life, Almost Famous
Books - The World We Have is one of my favorite reads. I like books on spirituality, leadership, neuroplaciticity, biographies, and more. Definitely more of a non-fiction than fiction reader these days
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would have to say taking on an international organization with no prior experience. I learned so much, so quickly, and was able to successfully oversee different departments in order to bring dozens of teams through a 90 day challenge. It felt like a complete whirlwind of learning and leading, and when I came out the other side with my head still intact, I knew that there wouldn't be much that I can't take on and grow through.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll teach anything I know, learn anything I don't, and share all that I have!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Engaging conversation that can open up a different perspective on life. I'm often told that I get people thinking about things differently than they're used, and love to get into those deep philosophical chats with those who are interested.
I can also offer an energy work session, or a way to better understand yourself through an astrology or a human design reading.
Or if you're working on anything that you may need assistance with, whether creative solutions, or getting computer work done, I'm pretty versatile with what I'm able to offer a project.
Countries I’ve Visited
Indonesia, Uganda, Zambia
