About Me
Hey! I am Gina, an enthusiast of protecting and connecting myself with mother nature in all the ways I can :)
More about me: I love the outdoors; rockclimbing, hiking, camping, horse riding, running, cycling, inline skating. I love music; playing the guitar and singing, listening to all kinds of genres underlining the mood I am in. I love languages; speaking different ones as often as I can. I spent a year in Southeastasia after graduating from high school. It was an experience of a lifetime and I came back with loads of unforgettable memories. While traveling and hitchhiking through the 10 countries of SEA, I met a lot of lovely human beings from all over the world. I loved to change my traveling habits every now and then, staying in hostels to meet backpackers from all over the place, staying with locals who invited me to their houses while hitchhiking and couchsurfing at least once in every country. Also, I lived in Mexico for two years where I started climbing a lot and hiking higher mountains.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because CS is so much more exciting than any other accomodation! I only feel like I've really seen the city when I stayed with a local and got all the inside deets.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am always exploring the world of music, listening to all genres depending on my mood and what I am doing. Mostly I am listening to indie, folk, alternative, rock + techno. But what I love most is listening to other people's music and explore.
I don't watch movies often but when I do, it's usually Sci-Fi, Drama, Comedy and Romantic movies or documentaries + tv series.
I usually follow other people's recommendations on books or read whatever book seemed interesting to me in a hostel's bookshelf. I also enjoy reading in foreign languages. 📚
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
With 18, I started hitchhiking all around Southeastasia for a year.
Teach, Learn, Share
While traveling through SEA I started learning how to say THANK YOU in more than 20 languages. I am still on it and hope to learn more from people all over the globe.
I also love languages in general and am always open to share some general language skills!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can have nice talks about the cultures we got to know already, I can teach you the languages I speak a little and we can just have a fun time! I am happy to help out with the cleaning and cooking as well.
