Overview
About Me
I used to have 1935 Craftsman metal lathe next to my bed which seemed a bit strange to my friends who would remark "why is there a lathe in your bedroom?" . my reply would be "No, I happen to have a bed in my machine shop" . I ended up selling the lathe a few years ago but I'm lucky to see work and life as one continuous intertwined thing.
I create kinetic sculpture and make animated films, teach animation, draw, take my Puerto Rican sled dog out for walks and when inspired, cook elaborate noodle dishes. I can also be found playing ukulele on alternate Wednesday's at my local sandwich shop.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm in the process of planning my first big solo trip in about a decade. I love the idea of traveling solo, but being fairly social, would like to have the opportunity to meet other like-mined people and share experiences and stories.
