About Me
CURRENT MISSION: Do it all and see it all. Live fearlessly.
After college I was thrown into the 9-5 workforce monotony. I've finally broken free and I'm learning to spread my wings. "Home" for the past 3 years has been teaching yoga in Philadelphia. I grew up at the Jersey Shore and still can't seem to shake the Jersey Girl in me, but I promise I'm nothing like the girls you've seen on the TV show.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Vacationing isn't nearly as fulfilling as diving into a place and learning to live like the locals. I look forward to truly connecting with hosts from all over the world so we can share with eachother. I'm especially into learning about different cultures, whether they are overseas or from another region of the USA, as I believe it makes me a less ignorant person.
Interests
Most of my day revolves around teaching or studying all things yoga or dreaming up future adventures. When I find free time I like camping, hula hooping, vegan cooking, live music, karaoke, and anything outside.
If you're willing to, I'm eager to chat about real life and your story.
Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit my job to pursue my dreams. That's pretty big in my opinion :)
In 2015 I fundraised over $5,300 to build a children's school in Haiti through buildOn. The fundraising was a challenge that taught me a lot of fighting for what I believe in, but the trip to break ground on the school was even more life-changing. Through community, love, and perseverance, anything is possible.
Traveled for 5 months despite having everything stolen 1 month in!
Led 2 yoga retreats abroad.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you are willing to try it, I'd love to share some yoga with you. I also give Thai Massage. People have told me I am an old soul and have a very grounding presence.
I want to learn everything about where you live! Language, customs, food, celebrations, hobbies, plants...
