About Me

Please note that I am NOT interested in using this for dates/hookups - I’m only interested in making new friends. If you are looking for a dates or sex, please do not contact me :) (Sorry but due to recent experiences, I needed to clarify that!). Now for the real stuff...

I love travelling and meeting new people. I am lucky enough to call the island of Maui, Hawai’i my home for the past 15 years. I have been travelling to Mexico and Panama and am always trying to improve my Spanish. I wouldn't consider myself fluent yet, but I will get there some day!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is no better way to experience a place and culture than by meeting and hanging out with the people that live there.

Interests

I have a passion for the ocean, surfing, and adventure, but I can also be content with a glass of wine and good conversation. I love music. I just very recently starting teaching myself guitar (not very good yet!), but I love practicing. I love being outside and exploring nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a huge variety of music that I enjoy. I listen to everything from hip hop, r&b, oldies, alternative, reggae... I really like music that makes you feel good and/or has something positive to say. Its hard for me to have a favorite but some of them might include Fat Freddy's drop, medicine for the people, lupe fiasco.

My alltime favorite movies are Elf and Cool runnings, but I can enjoy almost any movie except horror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job and packed up my whole life and sold most of what I owned to move to Panama for a man that I had only known for a week. It didn't end up working out, but I don't regret anything. It taught me that life is short and you need to take chances. It also taught me that if you do take big leaps of faith, and they don't work out, it only makes you a better, stronger person in the end. Live in the present and enjoy every day to the fullest because tomorrow is never guaranteed to anyone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories and laughter. I am an open book with a lot of random skills, so maybe its possible to teach each other a thing or two! I believe that in this life it is impossible to have too many friends
