ABOUT ME

Energetic, friendly girl that loves to try new things. I love playing team sports, cycling, skiing, being outdoors and reading (dislike t.v.). A couple of my favorite things to do is going to see live music or drinking beer with friends.

I quit my banking job last year for an around the world trip. Visited 33 countries, 6 continents and made countless new friends. I now live with my boyfriend, Brian, who is almost as well traveled as me and is equally friendly and outgoing.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't live to work, I work to live. I'm still trying to incorporate this in my life a bit more as its easy to fall into the expected.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host from time to time. Unfortunately busy schedules makes it difficult to commit very far in advance. Sometimes a last minute request is better for us. My experiences surfing have been nothing but positive! I love the local's perspective and particularly love it if the host has time to run around with me (not to the super cheesy tourist sites - I'll do that on my own to spare you seeing it the 100th time) but to the funky little bar on the corner or the little known restaurant that all the locals eat at and most of all for the conversations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent a year going around the world. I visited 33 countries, met countless people and had the time of my life! I've just returned and I'm getting ready to join the real world again. However, the travel "to do" list has grown! So, I know I have a lot more to look forward to.
