ABOUT ME

Small town Saskatchewan girl with bigs eyes to explore the world. I knew I would never stay in my home town and I make a home of wherever my head hits a pillow. I love to travel and feel supported by the people I interact with.

I currently work at Float YXE in Saskatoon, SK with my wonderful boyfriend. I do some management, community outreach, and front desk services. It is the most rewarding job I've ever had the pleasure of having. Working with your lover can be tough, but our lines of communication stay open and we have great mentors that help us along the way.

I love to study yoga, particularly Ashtanga Vinyasa. Whenever I am visiting a city, I make sure to search for a Mysore Studio, or attend a workshop. There is something about the magic of Ashtanga Yoga that keeps me coming back day after day for almost 4 years.

I really really really like chocolate covered almonds. And peaches.

People tell me I'm weird and wacky and heavily tattooed. I say there's always room for more.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know what life is (maybe a dream, maybe an alternate reality) but I know that it can be enjoyed and explored.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

To find people to connect with, places to stay, to learn new ways of life and ways of thinking. Also a warm place to sleep when I'm on the road would be nice.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I have only chatted with couch surfers, and I have heard great things about the people involved. So far I am looking for places to help make brighter but I am also willing to receive some brightness at my home when I am there :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I need to have one first! I feel like I have great intuition and judgment of character so hopefully, we can both make space for friend times and sharing.

At this point in my life, I'm pretty sure this thing we cal "life" is merely a sensory illusion. So might as well make it the most pleasant experience for yourself and everyone around you.

Yoga and cooking!! I took some cooking lessons in India so I can cook some South Indian food for ya'll. Or I can look in your fridge and create something out fo my head, I'm pretty good at that.
