Overview
About Me
I am an unschooling, voluntaryist/anarchist health nut with 3 wonderful children. I love travel, food, music, having new experiences, and meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I do tons of traveling with my children and rather than stay in hotels, I want them to meet new people and be exposed to lots of different lifestyles, to experience the places we go as someone who lives there might rather than simply as a tourist.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am extraordinarily well-read and have a massive book collection, as I have been collecting books, including rare and first editions, for decades. It would be well nigh impossible to pick just one or even a few. I am equally eclectic when it comes to music, loving classical, punk, classic country, alt-rock, EDM, and everything in between - though I don't usually partake of metal or anything too dissonant, these days. Movies I have seen fewer of, but lean toward foreign and art-house fare, but have definitely been known to indulge in the occasional blockbuster.
Sorry for no titles... I'm a rebel, I guess.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went skydiving alone to celebrate my 40th birthday!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very knowledgeable about all things concerning natural health, fitness and nutrition. I was once a RMT, though that certification is long-expired. I am a Forrest Yoga teacher. I have a level 3 raw food chef and teacher certification (though I generally eat more of a keto-fied Weston A. Price sort of diet - another couple of dietary schools of thought about which I am very knowledgeable - these days). I am a certified Nia (fitness) teacher. This is where my interests lie and I have amassed lots of knowledge in these areas over the years.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am just a kind, warm, generous, lovely person, and while I can share my knowledge, I am also a wonderful listener who loves to learn and to get to know people.
