ABOUT ME
I'm a writer/creator/lover/dreamer.
I'm passionate/creative/happy
I believe life is beautiful and messy and worth living every drop. I love taking chances, exploring new cultures, dancing in the rain, and trying anything that life brings my way.
I also have this odd talent of making friends with just about anyone I meet from the person riding the train to the homeless man outside the theater. Everyone has so much to offer, so much worth taking the time to explore....I love hearing about people's stories and challenges and loves.
PHILOSOPHY
Love.
"I see a world where nothing outside of myself is up to me. Life can be random and harsh, and all I can do is face it with whatever courage I can muster up. I think it is this courage that makes us divine. God, the one who does not exist, the vindictive God of so many scriptures, could, if he existed, only marvel at our courage. The God I saw on the edge of death hurts when I hurt, and cries when I cry. The God I saw wiped away my tears but not my pain. I see my God in the goodness of my friends. I see my God in the stillness of my wildest dance. Life, Gina is a mystery" -John Conley

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wow this is hard, there have been so many amazing things in my life, I've been extremely blessed to travel the world and meet many wonderful people.
The most amazing thing would have to be when I was in the airport in Japan and this 87 year-old man turned to me in the customs line, told me how he sold everything he owned and was moving to a remote island in the Philippines to write a novel. At the time I was struggling with being a write or slugging away in Corporate America. He turned to me, without knowing what I was struggling with and said to me "What are you so afraid of? Live your life and create what you want to create".
