Overview
About Me
- I like to learn new things, other cultures and other perspectives. I want to experience the world!
- At the moment I'm living in Zambia.
I've lived abroad (Haiti, Tanzania, Senegal) until I was about 11 years old, then moved to Belgium - culture shock!
- I have a Masters degree in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, and my teachers degree. As I love to learn, I like to share my knowledge as well.
I have the urge to move, love art, love people and I am curious about everything. Always want to know, learn and understand more.
- I like: diving, hiking, climbing, swimming, dancing, cycling, gardening, petting (any animals), cooking, reading, listening to music, get lost in my own thoughts, making up stories during the day about nonsense, nature, family, fashion, design, problem solving, traveling (duh) and so much more.
I try to do my thing. Make my own choices. Live and let live, enjoy as much as I can.
Treat people how I would like to be treated. Love life and it's hick-ups. Try new things. Trust. Love. Unite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was backpacking in Thailand, went to a cave tempel in Kanchanaburi, wasn't that interesting. The driver told me there was a great view not so far away, so I went. Standing on top of a mountain I've never seen nature so beautiful. Mountains, rice fields, river, boats, animals.. Everything together made me feel so thankful. Never felt so lonely and peaceful at the same time.
I was in Tunesia, we had a trip into the desert. It was a magic feeling.. I wanted to go back! And I did last december, again to Morocco (third time) and couchsurfed my way to the dessert, to the coast and back up to marrakech:)
In Wales I climbed Snowden Peak after a bad year with my health. I was so proud of myself and stunned by the views and amazing nature.
In Zambia we were driving from Livingstone to our BnB when suddenly there were maybe 40 elephants starting to cross over. It was so special to see the communication between them and adaptation to humans daily live. I could see the mothers with their children, very careful but steady. And this actually happened again the next day; the same group. Beautiful.
