Overview
About Me
About Me is so vague, I do better with specific questions, but here goes: 27 y/o American who is sad she can no longer say she is in her "early 20s" nor check the 18-24 age bracket on surveys. I enjoy daring new experiences. I relish the comforts of modern homes -- showers, toilets, mattresses, etc. -- yet I'm a super trooper on camping/outdoorsy expeditions. I love fishing! At the same time, I love getting dressed up for a dinner out or for dancing at the club. Please note: I have not been a "partier" for some time. Smoking and a few drinks is a good time, but big boozers are not my ideal. I equally enjoy naps and/or relaxing with a cup of tea or a soda with a book or movie. You could say I'm pretty multi-faceted?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After graduating university and having a "big girl" job for one year, which I decided was not where I saw myself in 40 years, I began traveling the South Pacific late October 2014. While I combine WOOFing/HelpXing, hostel stays, apartment leases, and camping, Couchsurfing is a great way to meet adventurous, like-minded people who know the area.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving in Mission Beach, Australia! Cliche, I know, but I am afraid of heights and was the most nervous person on the plane.
Teach, Learn, Share
Wow, glad they have a Teach, Learn, Share box. That's super neat, and I also thought it was my original idea, but apparently not!
Teach: I can teach you a little bit about the Japanese language, such as how to write your name in Katakana and speak a few sentences. My professor praised my handwriting and pronunciation. Otherwise I can teach you to ride a horse, lead you in a yoga session, or show you my favorite kitchen recipes.
Learn: I'd like to learn self-defense/kickboxing/other martial arts, more conversational Japanese, and your favorite kitchen recipes!
Share: I hope we can share karaoke, laughs, books and movies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
