About Me

CURRENT MISSION

live fully and actively; draw as much energy as possible from the directional trend of entropy! (this means dancing a LOT)

ABOUT ME

spontaneous adventure is my middle name.
been graced to share this world with such open and generous spirits; hoping to share and spread that love!
love to cook as well.

PHILOSOPHY

live, love and learn maybe. pick up a paintbrush and draw on the ceiling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

openmindedness leads to unexpected learning
generosity
happiness
so grateful for this organization, its purpose and the people it draws. some of my best travel experiences have been through couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used couchsurfing when traveling to Puerto Rico, was able to experience a part of the island off the beaten track of tourists and learn about contemporary progressive political movements and geology (of course).
Surfing throughout the US provides wonderful insight into the makeup and composition of cities and small towns

Interests

meeting new people, walking barefoot, climbing trees, hanging upsides down. fermenting garlic in honey. really enjoy painting, conversation of course and unexpected but delightful encounters with people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Planet Earth (and other stereotypical science documentaries). have yet to watch the Cosmos...
West african music amongst other types. contemporary classical. chillstep. folk. jazz!
On the Brave New World- 1984 track. Wallace Stegner is a favorite author.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

meeting people through couchsurfing has been some of the most memorable and interesting interactions!
exploring esoteric rock outcrops maybe is the most fun; rock scrambling in other words, with other geologists who are just as eager to figure out what stories the rocks contain

Teach, Learn, Share

Can excitedly talk about the evolution of anything; plants, continents, rocks, people. So enjoy sharing conversation and learning from others! Happy to share skills at drawing, reading music, visualizing geology, cooking, etc.
