About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to work my way around the world.. literally. I want to work and backpack all over the world. Next Stop: Europe!
ABOUT ME
I am a recent grad looking to learn about the ways of the world through travel. Different cultures, languages, religions, and spiritual beliefs fascinate me.. which is why I'd rather stay and work in an area than quickly backpack through it.I have many hobbies and would love to fund my travels through freelance work and teaching. Dancing, writing, and photography are some of my passions. Every day is an adventure!!!
PHILOSOPHY
"Logic will take you from A to B, imagination will take you everywhere"-Albert Einstein

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS: Shantaram is my all time favorite! Conflict by Nelson Rand, I am Malala, The power of now by Eckhart Tolle, The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho, Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne are some of my recent and favorite reads.
MUSIC: Love love love Radical Face, Fleet Foxes, The Shins, Bon Iver, City and Colour, Regina Spektor, The Civil Wars, Explosions in the Sky, Melody Gardot ...all kinda of folk rock/alternative/Motown and also some chill step/deep house edm music...
MOVIES: Im really into documentaries... Burma VJ, Forks over Knives, Inside North Korea, Gasland etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once worked in a Karen refugee camp on the border of Burma and Thailand. I was living in a hut with my students and teaching English during the week. It was the most amazing experience! The Karen people are the most hospitable (and musically gifted) people I've ever met! They are always so positive... singing and dancing constantly..despite the fact that they are forced to seek refuge away from the Burmese military. I keep these people in my prayers constantly and can't wait to go back for another 3 months!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn Guitar or cooking/baking things
Love to share travel stories, language lessons, spoken word poetry, and book/documentary recommendations!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach English and Salsa Dancing... Maybe some basic photography and ukulele!!
Also I can cook you some traditional healthy vegetarian California cuisine ;) hahaha
