About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world and eat all its food.
ABOUT ME
I really love hiking/camping/backpacking, the beach, playing music, cooking, trying new foods, and science. I am a scientist at a nonprofit. I study pollution in the ocean and the LA River. I love my job because I get to stop environmental injustice.
I like talking about music, science, history, and culture, and I don't mind talking politics as long as the conversation stays respectful. I really love hearing travel stories and looking at pictures people have taken on their journeys.
I value authenticity and kindness. I do not like judgmental people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed in Japan, Indonesia, Europe, and a few places in the US, and I'm always looking to do more.
Interests
I love exploring places on foot and getting off the beaten path. I don't really focus on the big attractions; I prefer to look for the hidden gems a place has to offer. I also just love doing what the locals do, which is a much more fulfilling way to travel. I'm always on the lookout for street food.
