About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find the best coffee in each town I visit
ABOUT ME
As all people (well most) I hardly ever know what to say in these things either, however I have realised that they ARE important. I appreciate it when people have filled them in, and want to make sure others can read something at least about me too.
Umm, me, well human, very human. I think a lot - perhaps this is why I LOVE to hang-out in funky and not so funky coffee shops (the coffee making ones) and enjoy the best cup of coffee whilst watching the world go by - nothing quite like it.
I like people, they are amazing - all unique, all with something to say, all incredible in their own right. I love a glass of wine, I enjoy the simple things in life - good food, good people, good places. Living with my dog, he's the best thing in the world (despite being a bit naughty).
Ask me what else you would like to know - I look forward to chatting with you..
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy I guess is to be who yo want to be, and then you will be that person. Go for it, step out in faith and experience life, - be human.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by meeting, eating, drinking and staying with people from the CS community. I love talking to people about CS and how the concept works. I have been to several CS events and look forward to more.
I love transferring online relationships and connections to offline good - CS does this perfectly.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been hosted and attended CS events, organised a few and hosted a couple of people when my landlord allows.
Interests
Food and drink, meeting people and learning about different cultures, deep and meaningful conversations. Running when I can.
Music, Movies, and Books
How to get away with murder, house of cards, modern family.
any recommendations for my kindle?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tonga was amazing - really got me into the backpacking experience. Perth was fantastic - really showed me how to "settle in" a town. lying under the stars in the middle of Australia and realising how small we are was just amazing. Being on stage with U2 was pretty cool too.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - people say I have random facts - I know a little about a lot it seems - but you can be the judge of that.I can teach you the perfect way to open a bottle of wine - so many people cannot do this I have discovered.
Learn - I want to learn guitar and to sing better. I also want to learn how to swim better too. Finally start learning Mandarin. I'm also very I am very interested in NLP.
Share - nothing better than sharing food and wine with people over conversation - I want to share our worlds and our stories.
