About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live every moment in the present, remembering that this life is short so Hakuna Matata!
ABOUT ME
I try to live in the present and enjoy every experience- even if it seems less than ideal I can learn something from it! I believe all things happen for a reason and make an effort to appreciate and love the people I encounter every day. Laughing, playing, dancing, and people watching are a few of my favorite things and outside in the middle of nature is my favorite place to hang.
PHILOSOPHY
Being happy, calm, sad, stressed, embarrassed, excited, angry, euphoric, or blue- is a choice for each individual. We are all lucky to have a chance to experience this life and might as well make the most of every opportunity to have fun and do something totally new!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been to a couple of CS events in Geneva, Switzerland, the closest city to where I currently reside.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went to an awesome beach bonfire CS party in San Fran a couple years ago, and have since met up with a bunch of cool people in Arkansas, Geneva, Portugal, and Spain to drink beer, chat, dance, and dine. I'm currently living with a host family but look forward to the day when I'll be able to host a whole party of meandering couchsurfers!
Interests
I love interacting and communicating with people and doing that in other languages makes me feel really cool. Moving and being outside make my heart come alive and I enjoy riding my bike, snowboarding, running, yoga, climbing, paddling, swimming, and frolicking.
Music has influenced my life since I was a kid and I love being around people playing it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing Matthes Crest in Yosemite National Park (California, USA) was one of the most exilarating things I've ever done. It's basically a huge dragon-back-spike jutting out of a rocky valley in one of the most amazing national parks I've ever seen. Google 'Matthes Crest' and you'll see what a camera could capture of this awesome piece of nature.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak Spanish and am learning French, and am constantly watching, observing, and thinking about human behavior.
I'm really interested in dreams and their influences and meanings.
I've been an avid outdoors-er for the past several years and have gained a fair amount of knowledge on a variety of outdoor activities and survival skills.
I love yoga and while I have already learned a lot about taking care of one's body from practicing, I've really only scratched the surface.
I believe in a higher power I refer to as God and enjoy sharing and learning about this amazing Love.
Cooking yummy things is something I deeply enjoy and would be overjoyed to trade pie, pastry, or cookie recipes for savory veggie ones!
