ABOUT ME

Jeremy and Rachel--world travelers, explorers, Burners, foodies, technology professionals, artists, Pacific Northwesterners hailing from Mukilteo, WA, USA.

We quit our jobs and gave away everything we own in order to explore the world. We love cooking, eating and trying new foods. When we get to a new place, we are always looking for the best restaurant in town or the market with the freshest fruit.

We've been backpacking together in Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, Alaska, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Macau, Hong Kong and China. We are also active members of the Burning Man community. We organize an 85-person camp called Do More Now at Burning Man and we love meeting fellow burners outside the playa!

We've got good skills under belt. Jeremy can weld, Rachel can speak Russian and we both have a fairly good handle on technology and business. Once we venture out to the world unknown, we know that our best skill is keeping an open mind. Traveling has helped us to become aware of all of which we are unaware. We hope to share some of that with you.

We love cooking food for our hosts. We are both vegans and really like introducing people to alternative diets. We've hosted many people while we were still living at home and now we're looking to meet people as we head out into the world!
