Overview
About Me
Locally grown in Austin, TX since 1997. My parents were my first guides into this beautifully diverse and amazing world and have encouraged me to continue exploring on my own :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite part of exploring a new place is the people that I meet; I can't think of a better way to learn about a place than learning from the people who live there and meeting other like minded adventurers.
Interests
I play soccer, mountain bike, and (try to) run. I love anything that includes exploring, food, or the outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books
-music: hozier, Vance joy, the black keys, the head and the heart, avett brothers, James Taylor, Dixie chicks
-books: recently read and enjoyed A Prayer for Owen Meany and the Oryx and Crake series:)
-movie: Mulan (sorry not sorry)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I mountaineered for a month in the Waddington Range in Canada and sailed for half a month in the Strait of Georgia on my NOLS trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
I find that I do a lot more learning than I do teaching, especially when I'm in another country- trying to absorb every aspect of every culture. I love sharing what I know and will try to answer any question thrown at me :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happiness :) in the form of food, conversation, and friendship.
