Overview
About Me
I am a serious spiritual seeker :) Ten years ago I drank alkohol, smoked cigarettes and enjoyed eating meat. Then I went to yoga studio and my life changed tremendously. Every morning now I start with asana practise. I like to meditate together with people of all religions and schools. I often go to christian church, zen buddhist center and Hare Krishna temple. I finished Sivananda yoga vedanta teachers training course and teached yoga in kindergarden.
Nine months I live in a Bethleum Sisters contemplative monastery in Lithuania and worked in the kitchen.
By profession I am a journalist. That is why I like exploring how I feel in different places with people who have different belief systems. Also my passion is to find what is the truth. Some years before I thought that the truth can be found in right thinking. Now I believe the truth is unconditional love :)
I like meeting people with whom I can sit quietly, chant a kirtan or share my dreams.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I can host one or two women in my flat for maximum two nights - on the small sofa or on the floor. We, two women, live quite in a small space - please, do not be angry, we wouldn't feel comfortable with a few males, sleeping on the floor.
No beer, no smoking. Also wee like to go to sleep early (eleven o'clock) . So those who would like to hang around the town and enjoy parties will not feel good staying with us.
And please, let me know at least three days in advance that you are coming. You can find me in Facebook "ginta gaivenyte" and write me a message, if I am late with my answer on Couchsurfing.
On July I am planning to go to India with my friend. We would like to meet people in India and know more about this wonderful country. We will be go to Mumbai, Kochi, Bangalore, Trichy , Tiruvannamalai and Coimbatore.
