About Me
Hello world!
I'm a PhD student in London and believe me, someday I will find a supercure to every possible disease! Jokes aside, it's allergies and asthma I'm focused on now.
I live with my wonderful boyfriend Mantas (he works as a software engineer) near finance district Canary Wharf and we both love London very much :)
If you want to stay with me, please include my and my boyfriend's name in your message, so that I know that you read my profile!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've finally got a decent place where I can host people and I would love to meet fellow world wanderers!
I'm looking for inspirations of where to go next as well. :)
Interests
I love nature and all things outdoors - walking, hiking, climbing, caving, cannyoning, swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving... Basically, all the things that let you see and appreciate the nature!
I also love exploring local markets, there are so many of them in London!
And food, oh my god, there is so much food in this world that I haven't tried yet!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - whatever helps to pace my running routine or make it through my never ending experiments in the lab.
Movies - TV series mostly: starting from Friends and going all the way up to Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Parks&Recreation, The Office, Black Mirror, American Gods, The Westworld... Anime as well (I watch it for the plot...)
Books - I will die as a Harry Potter fan. Also, the Song of Ice and Fire!
Musicals, theatre - I loved Mamma Mia and The Book of Mormon. Also, I was one of the first to see the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play (don't bother asking, I won't tell any spoilers ;p)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm an extremely normal person (sadly though). What I feel good about though, is that I am a frequent blood donor, I'm glad to help others:)
4-day self-guided Salkantay trek in Peru to reach Machu Picchu.
Oh yeah, and watched the sunrise from the top of Mt Fuji, Japan!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a scientist in the making so we could discuss how amazing the science is (it's awesome, seriously).
Would love to learn Japanese or meet people who are as crazy about Japan as we are!
I have quite an extensive collection of board games for rainy days in London ^^
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a Lithuanian girl who won't shut up how amazing my country is if you only ask! In addition to that, the UK has been my home since 2012, so I've got a lot of things to tell about England, esp. North Yorkshire and London.
I'm also a massive fan of Japanese cuisine so we can have a Japanese dinner together and you'll discover that it's not only sushi that they eat!
