About Me

I'm a 26-year-old Lithuanian from Vilnius, currently living in Lyon. I'm studying for a Master's degree in Sociology .

I believe that music can tell you a lot more about someone than just their words. Here are some of my absolute favorites: Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Okay Kaya, Slowdive, Wild Nothing, Daniel Johnston, Hania Rani, Cocteau Twins, and The Cure, The Smiths.

To reassure you, I'm not one of those people who are always in your face. I'm actually pretty chill and love spending time by myself. But I also consider myself empathetic, so I'm sensitive to when someone needs space, but on the other hand, I'm open and happy to listen and talk when someone's down for a chat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because traveling is about more than just seeing new places; staying with locals is the best way to truly experience a place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m really into music, especially piano, dream pop, shoegaze, and post punk. Some of my top favorites are Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Okay Kaya, Slowdive, Wild Nothing, Daniel Johnston, Hania Rani, Cocteau Twins, and The Cure, The Smiths.

As for movies, I'm a huge fan of arthouse films, also French New Wave or avant-garde. My favorite directors include David Lynch, Jonas Mekas, Yorgos Lanthimos, Agnes Varda, Lars von Trier, and Gaspar Noé.

When it comes to books, I love classical literature. My favorite authors are Gabriel García Márquez, Milan Kundera, Herman Hesse, Albert Camus, and Franz Kafka.
