About Me

I am a very friendly and outgoing person. I like to try new things and learn new stuff given the opportunity. Always eager to meet new people! I'd like to continuously be a sponge as I age in this very crucial moment of my life absorbing many invaluable insights from different people every now and then.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

.....Cause why not? 😜

Kidding aside, having the opportunity to live in different countries opened my eyes to a whole new level of perspective. At first I thought it would be lonely traveling and living alone in a new place, but then the amazing people I have met along the way made me realize the beauty of interaction and how it could ultimately mold me to become a better person each day. It transforms me to be more open-minded to various beliefs, and more so, keeps me grounded wherever life may take me. Also, the element of surprise waking up without any expectations and actually finding out you are having one the best days of your life are exactly the moments I wanna live for! One best example would be the story as to how I found out this website. I knew this through a Canadian girl I randomly talked to asking for directions in Paris CDG Airport. We had a really spontaneous fun times together and she told me about this amazing app and from then on there’s no going back and this is just one the many things I like about meeting new people. :) Another one would be partying crazy with a gorgeous group of Turkish girls and without sleep, hiking up a mountain early on the next day with a cool and energetic Aussie lad i! Hahha exhausting yes, yet those memories are simply remarkable! The learning that comes from my best to worst experiences is what makes me grow as a person.

Lastly, I would want to travel not merely as a spectator, completely overwhelming myself of the beauty the world has to offer, but most importantly, I would want it to be more of an immersion -- a melding of my experiences to yours by creating bonds and making great memories with people along the way. We are gradually losing touch of profound human experience nowadays and the trend is putting more value in sharing (fb, instagram, virtual stuff) and not exactly "living the moment" I may say. I would want every trip to simply be substantial and something I will remember when “my life flashes back before my very eyes” one day.

An outgoing and adaptable personality. I am not very particular and I could easily get by with anything that's been given to me. I'm a "when life gives you lemons make a lemonade" type of guy.
