About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Nomad Teachers!
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small town in Southern Italy and therefore sunny, hospitable and lover of good food as required by tradition =)
I spent one year in Russia studying in Saint Petersburg, volunteering in Nizhnij Novgorod as an EVS volunteer and visiting a lot of other cities.
I studied between Italy and Slovenia, and I've also been an Erasmus student in Murcia, or "Eramu" as Spanish people would pronounce it =)
And then I got a terrible disease called Ostalgie: nostalgia for Eastern Europe...and cyrillic. So, I spent four years living in Bulgaria =)
I am in The Netherlands now with my dear Dutch clown, ready to be Nomad Teachers!

PHILOSOPHY
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
surfing, hosting, attending and sometimes helping in organizing CS weekly meeting and international dinners.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed in Riga, Tallinn, Moscow, Kazan', Saint Petersburg, Marijampole, Ljubljana, Sevilla, Almería, Granada, Belgrade, Pisa, Salerno, Bucharest...
I hosted in Nizhnij Novgorod, in Sofia and also in my little home-town, Santeramo in Colle.
In Murcia, Spain, I hosted CS weekly meetings: we used to surf someone's terrace or place to have international dinner and my terrace was perfect for that!
Interests
I like being in nature. When I travel I try to find some green parts even in the cities, but my favourites are quiet forests and quiet beaches.
When I host I like to help my guests discover the beauty of the North Sea and wide beaches near Haarlem, the dunes and small hilly forests...yes, hilly! ...sort of =). But after being in nature I love drinking a cold beer, too, so I also have my favourite bars in the old center of Haarlem.

Teach, Learn, Share
Languages, of course! I can teach you some Italian (that's my mother tongue but also my profession) and a bit of other languages. I can teach you to read the Cyrillic alphabet. I'd love to refresh some of the languages I've learned so far. I can introduce you to Dutch culture through the eyes of a foreigner.
And food, of course! I can teach you some fundamental knowledge on how to not upset Italians in the kitchen (pasta al dente, no ketchup on top, and so on ...long list, by the way =D)
