About Me

I am an Italian girl, back home after being stranded in Australia, which I circled with Jackie, my Holden Jackaroo (27,000 km in 8 months through rivers, deserts and the wild Aussie bush).
I am extremely interested in religion as an anthropological phenomenon (I do not consider myself a religious person but I am very curious about traditions) and I am super passionate about history, which is why I loved Israel and Palestine (I consider this area the cradle of history) and I am fascinated by the most ancient living culture on Earth (Aborigeni).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to make new friends, find travelling buddies and possibly a couch to sleep on :) tell you about my travelling (if you want to hear about it!) and listen about yours!
And I really miss my pets so couchsurfing allows me to pet beautiful creatures every now and then 😍
Also, to give back the hospitality I received around the world, that is also cool!

Interests

I have trained kick boxing for 4 years, even though keeping up training with my travelling is a bit difficult. I have been dancing salsa for a few years and I find it a great way to socialize. I have practiced most sports at some point of my life, bball 8 years, baseball 2 years, volleyball soccer etc so Im up for any sport gathering. I went to Australia to discover its amazing wildlife and nature, become a better diver and learn about the aboriginal culture, it's fascinating. One of the best Aussie experiences was an Aboriginal dance festival lost in the bush, and I absolutely loved it. I love learning and improving my languages and meeting new people from all over the world.

*Feeling absolutely small in front of the Ocean and the huge dunes in Port Stephens
*Boarding on my flight to Australia 5 minutes before departure
*Diving with Manta Rays, white tip sharks and turtles in Bali
*Sailing on a ferry with Vietnamese construction workers, truck drivers, and cocks that were pooping next to my luggage
*Making a really really good friend through hitchhiking

*Selling a brand new toilet brush on the tube in Berlin just to see if we could sell it.. Talk to me to find out if we did 😅

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share quite a few tips on road trips in Australia, or help you planning trips and finding great flight deals. I made great guys friends on CS but I love girls nights. I can teach you Italian, Spanish or German if you like. I would like to learn as much as possible about the culture I am being exposed to at your place, starting from food 😋 thank you for anything you will share with me, from food to laughs! Or a combination of the 2.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very good (and modest bahaha) cook, I am quite creative so I can adjust my recipes for any religious/allergy/vegetarian need. I always have my Italian coffee maker with me, and I will definetely make you have a few laughs! I also like painting nails so I can do that (guys don't need nail polish but hey you can still get a manicure and take care of your hands!). I am willing to help out at home and sort out anything you might need, if it's within my capabilities.. If not, I'll still try :)
