Everyone has something to teach.The best way to get the most of our life's to learn how to share our experiences w/ eachother.My mission's to explore places but,above all,meet people and learn what they can teach me and,maybe,give something back to them.

ABOUT ME

About me? Well, very predictably I like travelling and exploring new places. I'm one of those old-fashioned tourists with a lousy map in their hands (GPS? no way. ) and a camera (Canon, of course) around their neck. I sing in acappella group which I love. My true love is photography and a career in fashion photoshooting is my secret back-up plan (in case the "successful neural engineer" plan fails aaand I don't manage to become a professional chef, of course). I have a childish passion for Disney movies, still get excited when I see a fallen star and can be considered a slightly expert in movie soundtracks. I have two siblings (Filippo and Lulu) and a big beautiful black dog (new found lander). Yes, I love my family.. My parents are my example in life and I truly believe in the sentence "there is no place like home". I really like cooking (and eating good food) and drinking both tea and coffee (although sometime I have to keep track of my blood's caffeine level lol). My favorite season is probably summer because, in general, my positive mood is directly proportional to the amount of sunlight I get. The brighter the day, the happier I am =)

I am more than happy to help couchsurfers with suggestions and advices, if I can. And, of course, if you need I can open up my sofa bed and give you a place to sleep!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing around USA and I loved the experience! I really like to travel and two years ago I did this big trip on US east coast by home exchange which was fun! I used to host people in my house back in italy. We had an american guy for one year, a chinese girl for one month and my brasilian cousin for half year so.. I really like having new people around! I more than happy to help you offer you a couch or.. just talk and hang out =)

Interests

Singing, Photography, Cooking, Travelling, Brain (which may explain why I'm studying neural engineering....), Music (very open minded about it.. Always love to discover new bands and genres). I like having deep talks about life, philosophy, culture beliefs and stuff like that.. especially if coupled with a glass of good wine. Oh yes, I like wine and one of my plan for the future is taking a wine tasting course!

Music: As I said, I love soundtracks but in general.. Im really open to any kind of music so.. surprise me with something I dont know and, who knows, i may love it!

Books: I'm a Harry Potter fun but I usually prefer more "action" books. Kinda like Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, Ken Follet etc.. BUT I have a secret passion for ancient literature and tragedies. And, although I'm really picky about it, I like poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sang with my choir at the closing ceremony of the XX Winter Olympic Games in 2006.. live! Awesome. I had some of my pictures showed at a real exposition. I had a song written and dedicated to me (its actually in my IPOD! My brother recorded it in a studio for me). Oh, and I am studying at a university in a country totally different from mine and Im here all by myself.. isnt that AMAZING enough?

Teach, Learn, Share

If I have something to teach? Well, maybe.. everyone has, right? For sure the thing I learnt is to avoid regrets. Don't be afraid of making choices and being wrong.. you can always learn from your mistakes. Smile if you want smiles back. Be helpful to others but.. save some time for yourself and indulge of little pleasures ;)

Learn? I don't know specifically what I need to learn but I am sure there is SO MUCH I dont know yet. That's why I wanna meet people and see places. You never know who you can learn new things from!
