Overview
About Me
Australian living in Edinburgh to complete my PhD.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I have a house, I love hosting people. I attended weekly meetings the whole time I lived in Melbourne. It's my first choice when traveling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had only awesome experiences! I've met some great people, all different from one another but all kind, interesting and generous people. I have had experiences that would have been impossible otherwise.
Interests
I enjoy writing, reading, coffee, and everything that goes with it. I’m a big foodie, but a cheap one.
I love hiking/hillwalking, but I usually need someone else to motivate me.
- writing
- coffee
- reading
- traveling
- history
- brazilian jiu jitsu
- cooking and baking
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all three! I will read, watch and listen to anything, given the time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking in the Faroe Islands. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Hitchhiking through Montenegro.
Teach, Learn, Share
I make a mean cheesecake (or vegan chocolate cake). I love food, and I’m happy to cook or learn anything about food and drink, especially whiskey and coffee.
Always happy to play tourguide!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking for people. I also know a lot of useless facts that might be good in a pub quiz!
