I have just started this 'couch-world', but I have been lucky enough to meet great people at my first try (Sophie and Evan, in Charleston). I was literally surprised and impressed to know such a kindness and friendship from people that I didn't know.
And most of all it was a lot of fun for all of us!

I like to help, that's me and couchsurfing has taught me how surprising and full of positive energy can be helping to travel.
It's also an amazing opportunity to share stories, points of view, perspectives, experiences. That's why I want to live more this 'couch-community', with the goal to become a good coachsurfer. Ok, I am starting with just meeting with people, but I will probably start soon to host or to surf too ;)

NYC is such a nice city, but -believe me- it's much nicer if you forget the tourist guide books and you live it as a NewYorker!

I am happy to share suggestions, tips or recommendations. I can tell you some good restaurants (you can eat EVERYTHING here), art to see, bars and pubs to try, shopping streets to enjoy, nightlife to live, parks to explore, public transportation to arrive fast and safe! ...is that all? Absolutely not! If you like we can share together some adventures and spots of the city, or even just a coffee :)
