Born in Catania in 1995, I've always loved my city and I learnt deeply about the lava tubes and the main secrets of my home town. Catania has an amazing position, since it is located between the sea and the highest Volcano in Europe, Etna. I own a little wooden boat, I normally use to bring people to explore my city from a point of view which is almost unknown to the majority of the tourists.

In 2014 I moved to Padova, where I lived for four years, in a University residence. There I knew people from a wide range of cultural background. This was the fertile ground to organize tandem activities, international dinner, amazing concerts.

Molecular Biology student, I now study posterior addition of segments to the body plan at the Jacques Monod Institut in Paris. I am also involved in Science Popularization, and I organized exhibitions in northern Italy. The most known of them is Sperimentando.

I was tutor of students with dyslexia and I helped high school students to find their way into University.

I worked on DNA extraction from fossils for my licence.

In one month I will graduate at the Magistère Européen de Génétique (MEG) (Double degree)

In two months I will graduate at the University of Padova (Master two)

When I was a child. I did Judo. Currently my sport is rowing. But I cannot do it the whole year due to university studies. Therefore, I run, I ride my lovely bike, and I often do crossfit. I seldom play soccer, and I am a Catania Soccer supporter. I also follow the italian national team of Rugby.

I love good music, particularly prog and classic rock. A few names: Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Bob Dylan, Deep Purple Roger Waters, Genesis, Grateful Dead, Yes, Alan Parsons Project, Neil Young, West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, John Renbourn, Ralph Mc Tell, Police, Goran Bregovic, Al Di Meola, Midnight Oil, Bert Jansch, Bob Marley, Emerson Lake & Palmer and many others.

I am in love with cooking. I mainly cook main courses, but I like also cooking desserts. I love to organize dinner, either multicultural or thematic, participate to parties, disco clubs, live music, and any kind of event.

I am particularly into science teaching and popularization.

Cooperate is better than compete. I am on the same wavelenght with who aims high and big thinks. I am a convinced optimistic. I hate both lazy and workaholic people.

I love nature, sea, mountains, volcano, art, paint, sculpture, architecture, make soap bubbles. That's why I love travels. Among my top destination, there are many italian villages: Siena, Chioggia, Caltagirone, Acireale, Orvieto, Firenze, Stra, Burano, Trieste, Porto Cervo.

The best travel would mean, to me:
- know local people
- live local experiences
- try any typical kind of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink

I love to camp, to sleep on the beach, to organize thematic dinners and alternative events.
