About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Life goal: not to travel but to live in different countries, not to meet new cultures but to experience them
ABOUT ME
I was born in the province of Lecce, a place of sea, sun and joy, but a few years ago I moved to Turin to study Architecture at the Polytechnic. I come from a land rich in traditions, which is why my main aim is to get to know the customs and traditions of populations and cultures other than my own. I like to learn from everyone I meet, I am curious and I like to know. I never say no to food! Not even to the 'weirdest' food. I like talking to people, listening to their stories and being part, even if only for a short time, of their lives. I rarely say no, I like to take everything on an adventure because I believe it is also the only way to experience life. I want to do as many things as possible in my life and arrive at the point of death and be satisfied with everything I have done and not regret it. I hate monotony and boredom.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because arriving in a new country and sleeping in a hotel is synonymous with sterility.
In hostels you make good acquaintances but you don't live the truth.
To experience a new culture you have to enter the homes of the inhabitants and peek into their fridges.
Warning: your fridges will be open!
Interests
I'm a drummer but I love any kind of percussion (that doesn't mean I can play them) techno, samba, rock, punk, raeggeton, jazz. Anything that sounds.
I really like video/photographic art, I used to make short films when I was a kid, but now I only continue with photography.
I love food, I would marry it if I could. Hence also a great passion for cooking. Any kind of cuisine and everything you can eat. In Mexico, I went to live with my friend's grandmother to really get to know the Mexican food culture. Now she is like my grandmother.
Born near the sea, another passion is sailing, one of my biggest dreams is to make the Atlantic crossing by sail.
