ABOUT ME

Some years ago, I adopted a child. Now we live with him in my tiny apartment. This new family with my 12-year-old son is my first priority... I am a single father. And I have a long-distance relationship with a wonderful man :)
I like Couchsurfing, I have used it a lot, I might use it abroad sometime, and I might meet people in Budapest for a coffee, but I have limited time, and it is more difficult to host in our two-room apartment. Please consider all this when you contact me. Thank you.

I am an open-minded person. Like travelling, knowing new places and people. I enjoy my job as a teacher and researcher. I am always and everywhere a researcher... :)

PHILOSOPHY

As I wrote, I am a researcher: in a wide sense. I would like to know places, cultures, people, and to raise questions! I like asking. I teach my students also not to have an answer too early but to learn to ask. Justice is one of the most important things for me. I would like to fight for a better world, where oppression will be defeated, and human rights will be respected totally. I fight for that cause with my teaching, with NGO activities, but with my research activities too. Being an "asker", a researcher is a way to contribute to the construction of a better world. I am a committed Christian man, but I respect all kinds of beliefs, and I follow a system-critical (neo-Marxist) philosophy. I am gay and out, and I work for equality for LGBTQ people in my country.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a family man in a small apartment, so hosting is difficult (might happen though if you accept the circumstances, and the life of a single father), but I always use couchsurfing while I am travelling...

I think it's a great idea! I am now a verified member, and I would like to know loads of people and places, and help the others to know my country!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Really a great experience. It is a unique opportunity to know intersting people, to communicate, and to see the world even if you are not rich :)

I teach pedagogy at a university, but I am a Hungarian language and literature teacher also. I can teach Italian too :)
