About Me

I just moved to Stuttgart after several wonderful years in Zurich. My current mission is to discover as much as possible about my new home! I am a social person and I like to meet new people that have something to share. I have always enjoyed to help fellow travelers to feel integrated (even if for one day!) in the place where I was living. I trust my instinct, if I like someone from the first sight, I treat her/him kindly as a close friend of mines.

I like feeling healthy, therefore I do sports and try to eat good things, I usually prefer to cook at home or with friends than go to the restaurant.
I love to practice both team sports (like rugby and soccer) and solo sports like tennis and skying.
Thanks to Grenoble (where I lived for 5 years doing a my PhD) I "discovered" the nature, there as here it is great. Mountains and forests which are all around give me a sort of quiet, serenity.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to avoid to postpone to tomorrow something that I could do today, who knows what challenges will come tomorrow!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whenever I travel for leisure I look into couchsurfers willing to host and I hosted several travelers in the past. I seldom participate to regular weekly meetings. Sometimes I post an announcement for a tour somewhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have much more experience as host than as guest. The only time I as hosted was in San Luis Obispo, I loved that place especially because Pierre Michel is a great guy.

Interests

I enjoy reading books without a specific preference of subject or author, it depends more on my mood. I like both summer and winter sports. In Italy I was used to play soccer (strange hein? :)) and tennis but after I moved to France I started playing rugby: it is wonderful! In Switzerland I discover to explore nature both in the winter and in summer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all genres of movies (not very much the musicals, I don't see the point in saying something singing instead of talking)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the whales in Sydney, I know that many people have done this before, but man this was amazing!

Countries I’ve Visited
