About Me

I am a very easygoing person, always laughing and looking to have fun, but a bit shy at first. I also love to immerse myself in nature and meditate. But I also like sports, dancing, playing and being silly. I played basketball for more than 10 years and I'm pretty good at beach volleyball too.

I love talking about sustainable living solutions, philosophy, psychology, meditation, and anything that is crazy or that challenges normality. As an Italian, everybody expects me to always make amazing food, I can make some ok stuff but unfortunately, I'm not the best chef around, I figured I have other qualities, one of them being loving food!

Reading and music are also huge parts of my life. I'd like to learn to play an instrument some day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had the most beautiful experience traveling across the United States with my ex gf Kitty (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/nguyenmeo) and meeting so many amazing people through this platform.

Since then, whenever possible, we tried hosting some people ourselves and loved that this platform kept connecting us with really special people.

To sum it up: I'm here for the connections, for the people that make up this great community.

Teach, Learn, Share

I write about my life philosophy and meditation on https://giorgiop.com/

I love having deep conversations and I'm a great listener.

Currently learning deeply about: Regenerative agriculture, Soulmaking Dharma, Systems Thinking

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm more of a listener, but I'm happy to share some of my travel stories from the US or Asia.

Interesting conversations about many topics and fun insights about Italian and Sicilian culture. I also love to practice my Spanish so if you are also learning Spanish it'd be perfect.

I can share my knowledge about regeneration, personal growth practices, and practices about community building and relationship building.
