About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn more. Know more. Be with people I love.

ABOUT ME

I'm calm and easy-going. I like meeting people, making friends and enjoying my time with them. I like music, series and movies but also to go out and spend my time outside four walls. I'm the kind of guy who gives a special attention to those I love but who is also always open to new people. I'm not the most extrovert person but I'm by no means shy. I like talking and sharing experiences and you'll find me very easy to approach and relate to.
I'm currently in university, studying international relations to become a diplomat in the future. Thinking of that, I came to an exchange program in Sweden where I can meet people from everywhere in the world and travel around Europe. To know different places and different people is a rather constructive experience for me and I enjoy it a lot. I'm always making new friends of all ages and personalities during my trips.
If you're thinking of staying at my place or considering hosting me, rest assured that you'll find someone who is open-minded, who'll probably turn into a good friend. I'll do whathever I can to make your time here the best possible.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe the point of living is to make the world a better place. Okay, that may sound a bit cheezy, I know, but I do believe in that.
I believe that whatever and wherever you are you must contribute with something. It doesn't matter if it is just by helping your friends and family, making them happy or by making a project or research that will "save" the planet. The point is that since you're here, since you have a brain between your ears and a heart within your chest, you need to put it to good use. Got it? :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new in CouchSurf. I haven't actually hosted or surfed yet, but I support and enjoy the idea of the project. From now on, I want to experience it to its most.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't tried anything from CouchSurf personally yet. I haven't surfed, hosted or been to any meetings. The only familirarity I have to it is from two close friends who were always hosting people. To meet people they were hosting made me see how the CouchSurf experience can be enriching for life.

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of things. For instance, I love music. Progressive rock/metal in special, but I enjoy anything. I like also movies and tv series. As a good brazilian, I of course enjoy playing, watching and commenting football as well :)
I'm interested on getting to know new places, be they beautiful or just different from what I'm used to. I'm interested on people, their history, the way they live and feel.
I'm also interested on what is going on in the world. International relations is something that really calls my attention.

Music, Movies, and Books

About music: For me, the most noble art! I enjoy music of many kinds, but I believe every type of music has it's own place to be played. For instance, pop/eletronic is not something I would be listening by myself, but in a party it will be very welcome. My favourite kind of music is the kind that has lyrics that make you feel something or makes you think and at the same time has a beautiful and/or powerful melody. A favourite style, progressive rock/metal or alternative rock. Favourite bands, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Placebo, Blackfield, Midlake and so on...
About Books: I really like reading. Generally fiction, novels. More "serious" books I have enough for university. I enjoy thrilling novels with long stories, generally books that contain a world in itself. But I also like stories that happen in the "real" world, especially if the timing is in the past. Favourites: The Kite Runner, The Book Thief, Lord of the Rings, The Way of Shadows...
About movies: I really appreciate movies. But I have to admit I'm not any affictioned to it, and I haven't watched many of the classics. I'm not a big fan of hollywood style movies. I prefer more alternative ones or with more real and human storylines.
