About Me

I'm from Montevideo, capital city of Uruguay. I live there with my family (parents and sister) but i'm really looking forward to moving out by myself any time soon.

I like being independent as much as I like meeting new people, specially from other parts of the world and with different cultures. I believe that travelling and getting in touch with people outside your culture opens your mind, makes you more tolerant.

I may be a bit shy at first, but very easy-going once I get to know you. I easily adapt to new environments and places, though I can be homesick if I don't feel comfortable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Someday I would love to travel the world, so i'm trying to learn as much as possible about different places. In this search I discovered a whole new world of lodging options. The idea of sharing the destinations with actual citizens, and getting to know the places with a different insight is very appealing. I would like to connect with people as much as possible, and have the opportunity to host as to be guest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wide taste in music: pop, rock, hip-hop, classical, reggaeton.

Looove reading! Mostly romantic novels, adventure and mystery, being Sherlock Holmes my favorite one!

I have an issue with series, I totally love them and once I get caught by one I can't get enough of it. Netflix is my best allied in this. I'm also very fond of going to the cinema and watching movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can relate with two amazing decisions:
- Accepting a job outside Montevideo (my home town), far from my family and home; and
- Go studying abroad for 3 weeks.

The job outside Montevideo meant I had to live by myself in a whole new town, in a house full of strangers (and foreigners) and learning to do everything on my own. It was such an enriching experience, in every way. I would do it all over again.

I had the chance to study English for 2 weeks in Dublin, then visit Belfast, Edinburgh, a day trip to Liverpool and finally London. My city in the world: Dublin. Totally loved it and i'm going back. Someday.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Brazil, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Peru, Scotland
