I'm a Brazilian girl in Canada for almost three months! I've been here for a summer internship in the University of Alberta that's located in Edmonton. I'm also a engineering student in the University of São Paulo in Brazil!
All this time that I'm in Canada I'm already in love with the country. I've loved the Rock Mountains! They're so big! For sure camping there and having the largest hike ever was the greatest experience of my life, but I'm still trying to understand more about Canada, that's why I'm going to the East (Toronto and Montreal) and I don't want to just visit those cities, I want to connect with people and see the town through a local eye.
No, I don't have a reference yet because this is the first time that I'm couchsufing and it's also my first time outside Brazil! But I can guarantee that I'll make my best with whoever hosts me :)
I love animals, I'm vegetarian (but I also respect those who are not), I really love travelling, but it's difficult for me because I'm a student and don't have much money (the biggest problem of the world...), I love meeting new people and listen to their stories (even being a little shy) and I always make an effort to be as close as possible to the nature because it's what gives me strength and peace.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I loved the idea of couchsurfing because it makes possible for people to interact and connect with each other during their adventure. So for me, I'm here to know a town from a local, or someone that can share their experiences, and connect with different cultures so I can learn and remodel myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love brazilian music, like MPB, but also some new independent bands that are coming around now. But besides that, I also enjoy a good 80's rock and folk music.
I love music and literature! I like science fiction and movies that makes you reconsider how you think about life. But I also like comedy and a romance to relax sometimes.
My favorite author is José Saramago, but I also like russian literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My biggest hike up in the mountains in Banff that was about 20 km! The view and the silent was something that I can't discribe.
