Overview
About Me
Definetely and above all things I see myself as an open minded, easy going and passionate person, treasuring life and learning from new experiences.
I deeply believe that everytime we get to experience something that is essentially different from what we are used to, we get almost instictively the need to adapt, change and appreciate.
Once we are able to tolerate and get along with people from different cultures, backgrounds and etnicities, we end up never going back to who we used to be, we evolve. Although it's sad to ackowledge that the human kind still has a long way to go towards this idea.
Life, in all its shapes and forms, is fragile. We, as one, must break free from stereotypes, prejudice and fear.
Therefore that's when traveling makes all the difference in someone's mind, body and life.
It has changed me, so ever since I've never stopped living, learning and sharing what I take as most precious: my knowledge and happiness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking forward to live new experiences in foreign lands and to improve my english (and spanish) skills, so I see CS as an absolutely wonderful way to achieve that while creating new bonds and making friends in the process.
I'd love getting to know people, their stories, lifestyles, how are the daily lives at the places I travel to; the nice spots that only locals get to go; the absolutely amazing comforting food that has been taught through generations, and of course, getting to feel at ease (even if it is for a minute) in a foreign place.
Interests
I'm passionate about literature, learning about culture in general, mythology, history, traditions, baking and international cuisine, drawing and watercolor painting, the martial art Aikido, languages, etc.
I also adore good long walks along the shore (and coconut water!), camping (Ive been a Girl Scout when I was younger), and going to music festivals.

Besides that, brazilian, indian, italian, Korean and japanese music are deeply in my heart.
Regarding books, I'm into classics such as Agatha Christie, Sir Conan Doyle, Victor Hugo, Dumas, Jules Verne, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and also J.K.Rowling, Douglas Adams etc.
About movies I enjoy almost everything except horror, ghost stories......
