About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to follow my instinct, stop worrying about what other people think of me, and be whatever I want to be every second of my life.

ABOUT ME

I've lived in the USA for five years, and this chapter of my life is about to end. What's next? I'm so excited about the very own uncertainty of the future. Today I'm here, tomorrow who knows! This doesn't scare me, rather it excites me. One thing is for sure: if you're a godd person, respectful, kind and easygoing, the future will offer you good and rewarding experiences. I've met so many amazing people in my life, I have shared so much, I have been given and have given so much. Everywhere I go, the people, with their complexities and differences, is what comes down to be the best part of my experiences. I love how they love to share the beauty they live in. As much as I like to see places from my own perspective, it's a really beautiful thing to see places through someone else's eyes.
I'm adaptable, curious, respectful, honest, loyal, and giving.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any couchsurfing experience yet, and I'm here to make it happen! I love to travel, and as hard it can be sometimes to find time and money to do it, I'm always planning on it! So, World! Here I come!

Interests

I know that lists are sometimes dry and impersonal, but I hope mine won't make you bored! I love photography, music and dancing (ALMOST any genre, as long as it is GOOD music), food (to cook it AND to eat it!), organic farming, social justice, animal rights, biking, meditation, people-watching, constructive conversation, sustainability, the sun, nature, hiking, reading, good movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gilberto Gil concert at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, MN (USA) in 2010. A life changing experience. I have been loving his music for a long time, but never got the chance to see him in concert. Well, that time not only I had gotten the privilege to see him playing live, but it was also an amazing, amazing experience. I was sitting somewhere in the first 4 rows, I was very close to him, and him and his band (which includes his son) seemed so small on that big stage. His voice was amazing, his music turned the big Orchestra Hall into the smallest and the most intimate music club. His sweet eyes, kind words, humble personality, all mixed with his heart-touching music, definitely changed my life on some level.

Another shocking yet incredible experience was winter 2010-2011 in Minnesota. Never ever experience such harsh weather in my life. Never seen so much snow. Never felt so cold. Yet, with so much cold and snow, all is calm around you. Nature was in a deep, sounding sleep, the lakes were frozen and beautiful, the wind like needles. Everything was in place.

Have you ever been to Calabria, in South Italy? Well, you should! The people, the nature, the food, the sea, the architecture, all is simply amazing. It leaves unforgettable images, tastes, smells, smiles in your memory. I was there last summer, and got to visit many little villages in the mountains, and more touristy town along the coast, also remote places where you end up having a whole beach all for your self, and swim in crystal-like water, while kissed by the hottest sun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to make earrings, teach Italian and English, how to cook, photography stuff from basic to advanced. We can bike together, meditate together, go to concerts together, go to art shows, talk about art, life, food, politics, the environment, music, cinema, natural medicine, animal rights, vegetarianism/veganism.
