Grew up moving constantly around Brazil, which embedded in me a desire to constantly travel. Now, I'm attempting a college education around the world – my university program takes me to 7 different countries throughout the 4 years of undergrad.

I am an Economics and Global Development major, going into my senior year, with a strong desire to design effective policies with the best available evidence for fair socioeconomic development after I graduate. Particularly interested in education, empowering women, and understanding how people think and the way societies developed.

Couchsurfing is a great way to connect with locals and getting to know the culture of each location, avoiding the major tourist destinations that can often skew reality. Currently not able to host because I just moved out of my home for the summer, but hope to return the favor as soon as I settle down again!

兴趣

I love just walking around the city and seeing people, it's definitely my favorite way to explore. I'm also very fond of going out at night to bars. Anywhere with good beaches is somewhere I'd want to visit -- unfortunately, I don't have the money to go to all the places I want to because of poor-college-student constraints.
