I am Giovanni, Italian but somehow Portuguese.

I'm a student, musician, traveller, journalist, life liv-er.
I am working to make writing my living.
I like cats, squirrels and guitars way too much.
I write way too much.
I don't make plans.
For my friends, I'm always leaving to somewhere.
I need music to survive.
I can't have fun if everyone else doesn't.
I keep a journal of everything I do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined CS.

I'm planning to provide a couch for the summer, for whoever wants it.

I'm usually not at home or hosting bands, so I apologize in advance to everyone that I won't be able to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up until now, I have been informally hosting couchsurfers (that is, I wasn't signed up but I let friends of friends surf my couch!) for over 4 years, ever since I have had my Florence apartment.

I haven't couchsurfed much, but I definitely enjoy helping people out with a place to stay here in Florence. Being involved in the local music scene here, it occurred me many times to have bands on tour sleep on my couch/floor after playing florence.

Those nights usually involve little sleep, torrential conversations, red wine, and acoustic jam sessions.

I am italian and live on my own - so I can cook. If we make friends, I'll teach you the best Carbonara recipe you'll ever try!

I also have other knowledge to share. I can teach guitar chords, how to speak italian, english or french, or how to build awesome scalp massagers.
