About Me

|| TRAVELING FROM MAY ONWARDS SO UNABLE TO HOST AT THE MOMENT ||

ABOUT ME

Mexican with a very Italian name residing in New Zealand. I would describe myself as an easy-going, down-to-earth person. I'm a free-spirit who loves traveling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Traveling has craved out a lot of who I am today, as well as it has opened up my mind and taught me to see life from different perspectives. I find enjoyment and joy out of many things in life - sometimes you might find me hiking up a mountain, going on long runs, pub crawling all night with friends; or you could also find me at home playing guitar, reading a good book or at a cafe having a good one-on-one conversation over brunch with a friend.

PHILOSOPHY

'Mi casa es tu casa'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been able to meet amazing people through traveling and CS. It truly amaze me how much we can learn from each other. I have met many interesting people by hosting/surfing who have been part of life lasting memories and people who I can get inspired by. Also, getting to meet locals is key when traveling - a real treasure.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I generally listen to pop, rock, indie music. Although, I can listen to most sorts of music.
Movies: my genres to go are usually drama, thriller or comedy. Docos are great, too.
Books: fiction/non-fiction novels, psychology, self-help.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is hard to pick one so I will list a few below:

-Volunteering for a summer school in Ecuador
-Night out at a local club in Laos with me being the only foreign at the venue
-Overnight kayak trip in Fiordland New Zealand
-Trip to the Cook Islands

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are surfing, I can definitely show you around or at least point you in the right direction to those local hidden gems. I love cooking Mexican food for guests and sharing a good tequila. As a surfer, I'm open to explore the area together. But if that is not possible, I'm happy to get around on my own. I'm always keen to show people my culture through music, food or chats. As long as there is good communication and respect, we'll be just fine.
