Hi guys! Although I opened up this account in 2014 I haven't used it until today 24/07/2017, so that's why I still have no reviews of sort.

Now, about me: I'm a 23yo Italian guy, currently studying Medicine in Italy and with a constant will to travel around whenever I can, whether it's with my GF, with my friends or alone.
Although I can appear extrovert at first look, I am quite introvert in the long run: I think a lot and I feel quite a lot of empathy. Still, I can also find the right words to start a conversation and break the ice, which I consider to be a nice thing.

My lifestyle is very easy, wearing t-shirts most of the time and hanging around with friends when I can, otherwise I just stay home and watch a movie or read a good book, or I have a walk. This of course when I don't have to kill myself studying for exams (argh!).
I have few friends, but very good ones; I'd say quality before quantity. Still, don't think I'm antisocial, it's just that I don't like "light" relationships with people and chit-chats. Give me the cools stuff!!

Then, something else... Not much, It's difficult to describe oneself on this white board. I have a motor-bike, I don't have a car, I like sports in general and in particular football (not the American one) and rugby (rugby league and rugby union too). I read quite a lot whenever I can (I don't have a favorite type of books, I would say I follow the good old famous authors), and I also like good movies (from philosophical ones, to adventure ones, to mind-twisters masterpieces).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel/Host in a light and cheap way. And I remember what a dear person would say "When we host other people, we see the places we are used to with new eyes every time". So I believe we should renew our sight every now and then by giving someone else the chance to see the places we live in.

Anyways, I like traveling most of all, being an atheist it's probably the only thing that makes sense to me.
Second: medicine. Still, I don't believe in an afterlife so I thought "let's try to make other people's lives last a little bit longer as a job!!"
Third: Sports, i like to read news about football, in particular I "support" Juventus so I follow it the most.
Fourth: Books, Movies and Music, I see there is an appropriate space for it later, so see you there!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: old rock, those goose-bump guitar riffs that make you fly (Knopfler anyone? Ry Cooder, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen,... but also Johnny Cash and many others)

Movies: basically I try to watch all the movies well voted on IMDB, and I also try to follow movies the various cinema festivals. Examples of movies I like, just those that come now to my mind: the game, donnie darko, a monster call, brazil (1985), old westerns, tarantino's, harry potter, the godfather,...... naah so many movies.

Books: Gordom Pym, anyone?? Then all the classics of course, but also other books like "the 100yo who climbed out the window and disappeared", poems from Fernando Pessoa, Hemingway, many more
