ABOUT ME
I am a guy who is really just trying to enjoy life. I try to make the best of every situation, and I love meeting people and listening to their stories. There are many different facets to my personality, which would explain why I enjoy doing most things. For a while, I thought that I might go back to school, but I am really enjoying not being in school and love the freedom it affords.
I have really found a passion with teaching. I am constantly learning new things, and there is nothing like seeing the "light bulb" go on when a student finally gets it.
I am also somewhat of a singer/performer. I am a classically trained Baritone/Tenor, and I do some musicals, singing with the symphony chorus here, and things of that nature on the side.
PHILOSOPHY
Learn from the past and live now.
I am a free thinker, and I am excited by things, people, or events that make me think about things in a new light. I try to learn everything I can from every experience I have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed a few times and am very active in the St. Louis CS community (Lou Crew).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was able to surf last Fall in Italy and England. It was a awesome experience, and I got so excited by this whole concept.
But since I haven't been able to travel much recently, I have gotten involved with the LouCrew. We all have worlds of fun together, and I couldn't ask for better people to be around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I (as the soloist, along with my acappella group) got to have a recording session with Ben Folds! We were featured on his University A Cappella CD and we then got to open a concert for him. One of the best experiences of my life!
