About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be kind to myself and others, grow myself and food, don't worry, be happy

ABOUT ME

I have a love of sunshine on my bare shoulders, callouses on my heels, callouses on my fingers from trying too hard to hold down steel strings, squeezing grass, mud and various other substances between my toes and fingers, tangy salty foods, new people, coffee and cheap red wine, picking up new skills (currently: knitting), not knowing where I'm sleeping tomorrow, knowing where I'm sleeping tomorrow, hand made ceramic mugs, hand-blown glasses, bonfires, dark dark chocolate, sand so hot it burns your feet, new books, my old yellow backpack, cheap wine wine and cheap beer, friends and family spread out across the country and around the world and lengthy sentences that get a bit hard to read and over-played after a while.

I am a FOODIE! Growing it, foraging it, cooking it, fermenting it, preserving it - all things I enjoy. Soon to be selling it. That'll be nice.

I have recently discovered that, contrary to what I believed for a very brief period of time, I am still growing and being challenged. Surprise! So, come challenge me and help me grow!

PHILOSOPHY

You know you're in perfect harmony with nature when mice surf.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After doing a test-run of couches in Oceania last fall, I am finally able to get back into the community, though not quite in full hosting capacity yet. I would love to show meet around the Bay Area and meet up and hopefully my couch will be available soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted (a little), surfed (a lot), a CS New Year's celebration in San Diego

Music: Anything you put on

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had a whale basically sneeze in my face. The entire contents of its blowhole ended up all over my person. And I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning guitar. Teach me a song and I will teach you how to enjoy a cheap bottle of wine (and I'll buy it for you too!)

Explore with me.

I'll teach you how to surf if I can ever host you in San Diego!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, Thailand
