About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Am a nomad.. & would love to meet people in kind...

ABOUT ME

I dont know what to say about myself... :(
To start with, the travelling bug bit quite late in my life at around 27 & since then have not looked back. I love being surrounded by nature & new experiences. It does not take a lot to make me happy. Had very modest but emotionally enriched upbringing & I still hold on to them. :) .

PHILOSOPHY

There's no absolute right or absolute wrong. Seen in perspective everything falls into place. always put yourself in the other persons shoes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently am a nomad, but looking forward to give it back to the community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first host was an amazing woman from Finland, teaching kids in Cambodia. Met her & her two sons. Was a good experience. One day.. I got lost in Phenom Phen and she sent out her sons to look for me they did not have any of contacts they were just scanning the neibourhood for. That was such a nice gesture. I think it is amazing to meet such good people in this world & CS promotes it.

A good story in any medium is always a treat..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This happened on a recent trek in the jungles in Andhra Pradesh, India. We were a group of 7 trekkers including 2 girls & went on a Lost trail. It was lost beacuse it was kinda dangerous but but based on old blogs we realised it would be really beautifull & it was supposed to be a 2 day trek & hence we planned & packed accordingly. but at the end of 2nd day we realised we really were lost and know no way to get out of it. We had no connectivity & GPS was not helping us. We were out of food & were scavenging our trash bags, which was not much & were starving. It was mountains all around us and high trees. We managed to come out on the fourth day at 0100 hrs, completely exhausted, blistered feet, every part of the body hurting & starved for more than 30 hours.

But then we realised it was the best experience in each of our lives, for the places we saw, the beauty & the rocks we climbed none of us had ever even dreamt of doing them. The best four lost days in the last 30 years. :)
