Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've really enjoy the opportunity to meet wonderful people from all around the world, from many walks of life, in many places around the globe, and hope that in meeting them I've somehow contributed to their perspective of the world. We live in the global village, and I see myself as a fellow villager. One day I'd hope to be able to return the offering by hosting other CSers myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've CSed first in Turkey, with a great Australian guy who showed me the real spirit of CSing by sharing with me so much of what he'd learned in his newly adopted home, and by his positivity towards all varying norms another culture can offer one... he taught me real turkish cooking, rather than suggesting to me a restaurant! That, and for example, the custom of leaving one's shoes at the door, and like small details helped me to truly understand the mission of CSing.
Interests
I am a sponge, everything I can learn I will absorb it... Everywhere I could go and whoever I could meet, I can see it with fresh eyes and meet them without judgements.

Music, Movies, and Books
"Children of A Lesser God", a definite favourite.
The Alchemist, by Paolo Coelho, a must read in my book.
Siddhartha by German Hesse
Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder
Depeche Mode... of course a classic amongst many.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking among the flamingos of Rio Lagartos, Yucatan, Mexico, with an stunning sunset, and having them lift from the water all around me....
And snorkelling with turtles and thousands of multi-coloured fishes with the calm of hearing only my own breathing...
Teach, Learn, Share
Often we learn without knowing it, and it's the student who teaches. This way I've often shared, and always will continue.
