My name is Jen. I'm a designer, artist, and photographer. Deep down, I've always been fascinated with exploration and learning all I can about different cultures and the history they leave behind. My car, and my main companion in my travels, is Lady Jane, the Riverfish. I know, I know - what does that mean, exactly? To elaborate -in a 'short story' manner of speaking- it means I'm a little strange. Being a strange individual means I am attracted to a variety of places and activities that others might find intriguing, a little off the wall, or flat out weird. My newest 'strange' expedition is taking place on the road and primarily inside my Toyota Prius.

I'm here simply because I don't like wasting money. I'm always looking for the best deal or affordable tools to create an alternative living solution. I love to travel and explore all kinds of neat places on a budget. Since my career as a Graphic Designer allows me to work on the road, I'll be taking full advantage of my time in this position to explore what I can of the United States. Couchsurfing is a great opportunity for me to see as much of the United States that I can, all at one time in one place. Thanks in advance for hosting me!

I have lived a very ODD life. My story is somewhat of something out of a really weird, sad, but rollercoaster of an uplifting movie.
