ABOUT ME

More or less I'm a people person and love hanging out and having a good time no matter what that entails (and I'm a geek in disguise--video games, comics, bad horror movies? Yes please!). I can make the best out of a worse situation. I'm pretty much up for anything!

I was on a bit of an extreme thrillseeking streak and got bungee jumping, sky-diving, zorbing, parasailing, riding the tallest steel roller coaster in the world, ziplining, and hang gliding checked off my bucket list. (&----Did I mention I hate heights?)

I love being me, which in essence means just enjoying things as they come and not trying to fight life so hard like I see so many people doing. I'm very go-with-the-flow.

In recent years I've been coming to terms with my new perspective of not wanting to contribute to society in a negative form. I've taken up a flexitarian diet, buying organically and locally, and trying to give back to the community in various ways. If you want to label me as hippie do as you wish but remember labels are for jars not people.

Currently I'm learning a bit about Urbexing before trekking out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am offering lots of comfy spaces to travelers around the world. I love learning about people from different walks of life and sharing my life experiences.

My home does include three other people but they're a friendly bunch. I also have lots of friends who love to drop by with wine, cheese, video games, "Facebook crises", or just to relax. My place seems to be the spot everyone feels safest at.

P.S. You will probably be subjected to eating home-cooked meals or baking while you're here ^_^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed half-way across the country and had a positive experiences all throughout. I am even still in contact with a few of them.

Interests

My interest are just as diverse as my personality. I love all types of music, the arts, geeky & techy stuff, plus anything related to science. Culture researching, costumes, home decor, alternative communities---and the likes. I like to expand my mental horizons as often as I can. Did I mention I love music? Especially the live stuff?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Mt. Everest! While you surf my couch I can tell you the story =)

7 of the seven continents

My goal is to complete one of these list before I am 30. (Update 3/30/2014: I've visited all seven continents!)
