ABOUT ME
Formerly worked for DC Public Schools. Former PC Volunteer, first in Romania, then PC Response in The Gambia. Now back in the US for a while...
PHILOSOPHY
i believe in causes. i also believe we can be passionate about different ones without making either of us a bad person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Finally got verified and contributed to CouchSurfing :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
mostly with PC volunteers, and then one amazing CS experience in San Antonio. and then also an amazing hosting experience with some amazing new yorkers
Interests
thrift shopping, good wine, human rights, mail that actually comes in a mailbox (you know, like the one outside your house). singing a capella, traveling as frequently as my meager paycheck will allow, reading bukowski out loud while intoxicated, dancing to indie rock in dark spaces, cooking.
i was going to update this list, but it pretty much still applies. lot of solitary time in peace corps, so i fluctuate between lots of solitary activity and needing to get out
