ABOUT ME

I was born in Bahar Dar, Ethiopia. But I had the chance to live and study in France and England and travel almost all over Europe. I have had good opportunity to do my own research on the topics that interest me most which is Tourism!
But finally I felt pain about how little the world knows about the country which I have always loved and been proud of. I had to realize that the world still missunderstands Ethiopia's real image. This for a number of reasons among which also disproportionate foreign media coverage which tells unbalanced mostly about war, poverty and famine.
So in a way, I wanted to create the opportunity for the rest of the world to discover about the amazing history, the incredible nature and the beautiful culture of Ethiopia for mutual social and economic benefit. This is how I came up with an idea of organizing a cross country bicycle tour all over Europe, Canada and some parts of USA. For the last one year I have been cycling throughout Europe (France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland...) in order to improve the image of Ethiopia and promote ecotourism and cultural exchange. I strongly believe that this promotional bicycle tour can make a difference against the country's bad image and increase tourist arrival in Ethiopia in order to boost revenu income from the tourism sector and help the ongoing effort of poverty reduction.

As a new member of community I try to know more and see what I can do there I would like to help if i can as i need also BUT I just start to use cs to broaden my horizons, to learn, to share, to improve myself, meet interesting new people and my understanding of this world.

My experience in CouchSerfing is littel but I feel it very positive and exciting project!i am just New!

Interests

First of all I like travelling and get new experience. my experience is always has been positive and exciting. Second, I like to exchange experience with people around me. And third, I very like to read books about success and Travling biking treking swimming etc
Developing Eco-toutism project and helping People. I like to go to Church and sing Gospel! I have a quirky sense of humour. I love to tell jokes and have a repertoire of millions. I love to cook to sit with friends over a good meal and talk into the early hours. Also going for long walks or biking or roller or swimming that's how I do most of my thinking and gather my thoughts.
